Easy, find a box big enough to take the gubbins and secure it in. Helps if the box is waterproof-ish.

There are specialist waterproof boxes but I got away with a tool box and so did Tim K.

A few stainless screws, silicon and ty-wraps and you are away.

I could post a few photo's but Mr Kelly would only sneer and call it my Joe 90 box  Sad if I had just stuck them up.

A slightly different set up now to hold the transducer arm to the box for carrying but you get the idea.

They all seem a bit up market for my bit of the Fen Shocked.

Mine is basicly a Tescos snap lid lunch box with the finder bolted to the lid [sealed with silicone] the battery fits in the box and the resultant void is filled with expanding foam and then cut to shape. The whole system is small, light [in so far as the battery allows] and watertight.

That do seem a bit simpler, and anythn that's a bit easier to cart up and down them old doike banks is allroight wi me.
