Gender:	Re: wensum valley golf club strech Reply #1 - Feb 13^th, 2010 at 8:29am From what im hearing, the owner has cut alot of tree's out along the golf club bank in places. so some of the feature swims are gone. if you fish on the golf club bank you may want to ring them!

Gender:	Re: wensum valley golf club strech Reply #3 - Feb 14^th, 2010 at 7:02pm If you know that area well you know what can be caught!! the otter's are still present, mainly fish in the evening's had 2 otter's pass through when there week ago. if you not been there for 4yrs or so you will notice the change in fishing as well as the tree's etc.

Most of the stretch can be fished for free from Ringland Common side. A few years ago this area produced the odd big six and one confirmed seven, but the spread of otters and the removal of many features on the golf course bank has ruined one of best stretches of the Wensum. Just goes to show what harm can be done by certain people who have no idea about river managment.
